Stages of Morality

One of the stages of morality I choose to do was Social Contract. Atticus falls under this stage because when Mr. Avery's dog was walking through the neighborhood with rabies. The sheriff , Heck Tate, forced Atticus to take the gun and shoot the rabied dog. " For God's sake, Mr. Finch, look where he is! Miss and you'll go straight into the Radley house! I can't shoot that well and you know it!" Another example is Conformity. When Jem destroyed Mrs. Doubse plants, Atticus made him read to her everyday after school for one hour for his punishment. These are some examples of the different stages of morality.
